Why doesn't my item ship out as soon as
I order it? All of the items listed in the Apple &
Ivy store are handmade and made to order. We do not have product
inventory, everything is made to your order specs. It takes time for
us to create your order. We really love our work and take pride in
the handmade goods we create. We put creativity, love, time and care
into every item we make. We do understand some orders are needed
quickly, so we do offer a rush service.
Are all of your items handmade?

Yes all of our items are handmade in
the USA, more specifically in Winter Park, Florida.

Where do you get your fabrics?
The fabrics used to create our items
come from all over the world. Majority of our silk fabrics come from
International areas.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard,
American Express, Discover, or regular account payments all through
PayPal.
How secure is the webshop?
This store uses PayPal for payments,
and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in
transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer
protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest
level commercially available).
Do I need a PayPal account to buy?
No, you don't need to have a PayPal
account to purchase from this store, although if you already have a
PayPal account you may use it.
Once my order ships, how long will it
take to be delivered?
Shipments within the United States
usually arrive within 3 business days. To Canada it can be from 7-10
days. For all other areas the shipping time can vary from 7 to 12
days. For international shipping, please be aware that it is not
uncommon for packages to be held in customs within your own country
for several days and on some occasions weeks for processing. That is
beyond our control and shipping time also depends on your countries
international security concerns and the levels of threat the
receiving country may be experiencing. So please allow up to 30 days
for arrival in the worst case scenario. Having said that, most of our
packages arrive at their destination in a timely manner.
How long does it take for me to get a response from an email I sent? The typical response time for an email or voicemail response is around 24 to 48 hours. I try my best to respond as soon as possible to inquires. I receive hundreds of emails and phone calls in one day and want to give each one the attention they deserve.
How are your products packaged?
Apple & Ivy products are packaged
in a professional manner to ensure they get to you safely and so they
are perfect to give as gifts (or keep for yourself).

How do I clean my silk necktie or bow
tie?
Our silk ties can either be spot
cleaned or dry cleaned. They can be spot cleaned with Dryel cleaner
which is safe to use on silk fabric. Or they can be taken to a dry
cleaning service provider.
How do I clean my non-silk necktie or
bow tie?
Our cotton, tweed or poly blend ties
can be spot cleaned or machine washed on gentle. They can be spot
cleaned with Dryel cleaner or with a Tide pen. Or they can be
machine washed on gentle and then line dried. Please note that the
tie may need to be iron pressed after washing due to some wrinkling
that may occur.
How do I clean my Apple & Ivy
clothing item?
Our clothing items can either be
machine washed, hand washed or dry cleaned. The more delicate
dresses would do best to be either hand washed or dry cleaned. All
of our clothing items are handmade and do require gentle cleaning so
either the hand wash or delicate cycle should be used when machine
washed. It is advised not to use a heated dryer on our clothing
items but you can do so if you use the delicate cycle. Line drying
is the preferred method.
